More great news this week for Limerick with the announcement that Regeneron will create 300 jobs at a site in Raheen Business Park.
The home of the former Dell plant, planning permission has now been sought for a purpose-built facility on the 12-hectare site.
New-York based Regeneron is one of the fastest growing biopharmaceutical companies in the US, and develops medicines for a range of illnesses including eye diseases and colorectal cancer. The investment is supported by IDA Ireland.
The news ends what has a been a remarkable year for Limerick and the Mid West and comes ahead of another positive year with Limerick City acting as Ireland’s first National City of Culture in 2014.
