BDO Limerick are celebrating given that all seven of their final year chartered accountants have been successful in their examinations which represents a 100% pass rate for the firm.

The celebrations were further enhanced this year as Eoin Morgan, final year chartered accountancy student, received 10th place in Ireland. The national pass rate was at 60% and BDO are delighted with their 100% record this year.

Speaking about the results, Managing Partner Denis Herlihy said “We at BDO are delighted with the results and this is testament to the hard work put in by the trainees and the excellent mentoring provided by the partners and management at BDO. Eoin, originally from Ballina Co Tipperary is a dedicated and talented accountant.

The final exam for chartered accountants accesses total competency and is an important milestone in the career of trainee accountants.  All finalists will be conferred later this year with membership of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
